The current real estate market updates for Central Ohio show a decrease in both the median sales price and the number of home sales. Compared to 2009, the number of Central Ohio home sales decreased by 2.8 percent to 19,676 compared with 20,235 homes in 2009, and the median sales price decreased 0.6 percent to $158,893. Homes averaged 90 days on the market which is an improvement from 2009. The month’s supply of homes for sale was 9.93, the lowest level since June. Month’s supply is the ratio of inventory to sales which accounts for both supply and demand.
